Connor Syme Wins Turkish Airlines Challenge
Connor Syme from Scotland has recorded his first professional victory at the Turkish Airlines Challenge, winning on the first play-off hole against Italian golfer Francesco Laporta.
Connor shot rounds of 65, 67, 66 and 67 for an incredible minus 23 total to get his Challenge Tour season off to the best possible start.
Connor commented ‘I’m absolutely delighted to record the win at the Turkish Airlines Challenge. It’s been an incredible week and I must thank both the Challenge Tour and Turkish Airlines for putting on such a great event. In addition I would like to thank all my family and sponsors for their ongoing support’.
