Modest! Golf capture highly sought signature of Marcus Helligkilde

Modest! Golf are proud to confirm the signing of Danish sensation Marcus Helligkilde on a long-term deal.

Marcus has been the talk of the Challenge Tour this term, laying claim to his second Tour title in just seven weeks with victory at the Swiss Challenge at Golf Saint Apollinaire.

Helligkilde had previously won the Vierumaki Finnish Challenge in August and now sits in third sport on the Road to Mallorca standings with his European Tour promotion safely assured with events to spare this season.

“Marcus is someone who has been on our radar for a long time and it’s no surprise to see him enjoying an incredible season on the Challenge Tour.

Helligkilde’s latest victory saw him move inside the top-150 on the World Rankings for the first time, with the just turned 25-year old now believing he’s signed with the ideal company to take his game inside the top-100 and beyond.

Marcus’ Main Tour credentials are clear having already enjoyed a top-25 finish at the Made in Himmerland and a tied-12th result at the Dutch Open on his only two European Tour starts this term.

His two Challenge Tour victories displayed rare firepower as he broke the 20-under par scoring barrier twice with a 23-under winning tally in Finland before going two shots better with an astonishing 25-under par total at the Swiss.

Marcus now moves to the Modest! Golf ranks that include global stars like Tyrrell Hatton, Guido Migliozzi and Leona Maguire.
