Modest! Golf are delighted to confirm the signing of German international Olivia Cowan as they continue to grow their presence in the women’s game.

Olivia was one of Germany's outstanding amateur players, representing her country at the Youth Olympics in China before being part of the winning European side at the 2015 Vagliano Trophy.

A serial winner in the unpaid ranks, she claimed both the Spanish and Portuguese Ladies Amateur Championships before turning professional in 2015. Now an ever-present on the Ladies European Tour, Olivia boasts seven top-10 finishes in the last 15 months, including five top-5’s as she goes in search of a maiden professional title.

“I’m delighted to sign with Modest Golf Management,” said Olivia, who joins LPGA Tour star Leona Maguire in the company’s playing ranks.

“I have always admired the work of Modest! Golf and have been particularly impressed by the support and commitment they show to their players. Modest! Golf represents some of the biggest talents in the sport so I am really excited to take the next step in my career with them and looking forward to seeing what the future will bring.”

The signing of Cowan further illustrates Modest! Golf’s intent to help plug the gender gap within the sport of golf. Always quick to promote inclusivity on a world stage, the ISPS Handa World Invitational, presented by Modest! Golf was the first tournament of its kind to promote equal pay and opportunity for men and women, while Modest! has since doubled down in its efforts for equality with the conception of The Clutch Pro Tour, offering the biggest ‘open access’ platform in Europe for developing male and female professionals.
The company was also quick to sign Ireland’s top-5 ranked disability golfer, Brendan Lawlor to his first professional contract and it’s this dedication to breaking down barriers and allowing talent to prosper regardless of background that continues to be a driving force behind the Niall Horan owned operation.

“We’re so pleased to sign Olivia to the Modest! Golf team,” said Horan. “We have been so impressed with her game for some time now and are really excited to help her on her journey in professional golf. “We make it our mission to help drive inclusivity within the sport of golf and signing players of the calibre of Olivia can only help in that pursuit.”
