Modest Golf! client Anna Nordqvist named as Solheim Cup Vice Captain.

European Solheim Cup Captain Suzann Pettersen today confirmed her team of four vice-captains for the 2024 Solheim Cup, which will be played at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in September.

Pettersen had three vice-captains alongside her at the 2023 Solheim Cup with Dame Laura Davies and Caroline Martens joining Modest Golf client Anna Nordqvist all of whom brought different skills, knowledge and experience to the backroom team.

For 2024, the Norwegian has also decided to add England’s Mel Reid – who was a Vice-Captain in 2019 – ahead of the prestigious biennial content where Europe will be seeking to keep the trophy for a historic fourth time.

“With just over six months to go until the competition, I’m thrilled to be able to name my backroom team for the 2024 Solheim Cup,” said Pettersen. 

“Everyone knows how much the Solheim Cup means to me and how much I love being part of it and Team Europe. It brings out passion and shows the best of what golf has to offer” commented Anna Nordqvist. 

The 2024 Solheim Cup will be staged at Robert Trent Jones in Gainesville, Virginia from September 10-15, 2024.
