The SS’20 collection includes some of the new CLOUDSPUN technology garments. This new collection of polos and layering pieces with innovative CLOUDSPUN technology are literally the softest, most lightweight, breathable, stretchiest fabric the brand has ever used. He will also wear the latest spiked and spikeless footwear ranges throughout 2020.
Paul Spencer, PUMA UKIB General Manager said – “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to work with Ewen, from his stellar amateur career, culminating in being a part of the victorious 2015 Walker Cup team to the success he has seen in his short professional career, we’re excited to watch him continue his progression in 2020 on the Challenge Tour, whilst showcasing our apparel and footwear. Ewen is the perfect fit for our brand and we’re proud to have him as part of our team for 2020, and beyond.”
A prolific amateur, Ferguson became the first Scot to win the Boys Amateur Championship in almost a decade when he claimed the title at Royal Birkdale in 2013. In 2014, he became the first player to hold that crown as well as the Scottish Boys and Scottish Boys Stroke Play titles at the same time. He was also in the Great Britain & Ireland team at the 2015 Walker Cup at Royal Lytham, where he beat Maverick McNealy - the World Amateur Number Two in the first-day singles.
Playing as an amateur on the Challenge Tour in 2016, made the cut at both the Turkish Airlines Challenge and the Montecchia Open by Lyoness before turning professional and making his European Tour debut later that season in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, where he also made the cut.
He will get his season underway in his new PUMA apparel and footwear on the European Tour at the South African Open on 9th January. He tees off at 12.40 local time in round 1. Ewen will play most of his golf in 2020 on the Challenge Tour with a full card for the 2020 season and make several appearances on the European Tour by way of invites.
