Modest! Golf Management are pleased to confirm that English golfer Richard Mansell has re-signed with the business on a new long-term management agreement.

From limited starts this year, Mansell achieved maximum return, graduating to the main European Tour after finishing fourth on the Challenge Tour’s 2020 Order of Merit.

“I have loved every minute of my time with Modest! Golf so it was an easy decision to extend my agreement with the team,” Richard said. “Despite all the challenges this year, we put in an incredible amount of work together. I’m really happy with the team that I have around me and I’m really excited to be able to compete next season on the European Tour.”

Mansell can look forward to next season already safe in the knowledge that his game is ready to compete with the very best. In what proved to be a breakthrough 2020, Mansell just missed out on a maiden European Tour victory when finishing second at the Euram Bank Open while he also finished second at the Andalucia Challenge in November on his way to earning his playing privileges to the top tier of European golf.

“Richard has got a really bright future ahead of him so we’re delighted that he’s placed his trust in Modest! to help him on that journey,” said owner of Modest! Golf, Niall Horan.

“It’s been amazing watching Richard’s progress this past 24 months. To see him work his way up to the best tour in Europe is something we’re all very proud of and we can’t wait to see what he produces next season.”

The next step in Mansell’s career will be adding a maiden European Tour title to an already glittering resume. Surrounded by serial winners in the Modest! Golf stable of talent, he has no shortage of inspiration with the likes of Tyrrell Hatton, Guido Migliozzi and newly-crowned Alfred Dunhill champion and South African Open winner, Christiaan Bezuidenhout.
