Christiaan Bezuidenhout
Country: South Africa
DOB: 18-05-1994
OWGR: 34
Christiaan broke into the world’s top-50 for the first time this year on home soil at the Dimension Data Pro-Am where he eagled the 72nd hole in a stunning victory. The South African turned professional in 2015 carrying great expectation and rubber-stamped his credentials when collecting the Sunshine Tour Rookie of the Year award in 2017.
In such a short space of time, Christiaan’s become a European Tour stalwart, his name regularly looming large on leaderboards across the Continent. He recorded his first professional victory at the 2019 Valderrama Masters which in turn saw him make his Major debut at the Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
Christiaan has already made a splash on the other side of the Atlantic too with strong finishes on the PGA Tour while his top-50 ranking should mean that Christiaan makes the most memorable drive in golf down Magnolia Lane this year for the 2020 Masters.
