Ireland’s Leona Maguire Tees Off 2023 With Support From UKG

From County Cavan, Ireland, Maguire joins Team UKG following a historic 2022 in which she registered three Top 10 finishes at LPGA majors and became the first Irish golfer to win a title on the LPGA Tour at the Drive On Championship in Fort Myers, Florida.
As a double Olympian, Maguire was a crucial member of Team Europe in the 2021 Solheim Cup, where she went undefeated in all of her matches to help lead her team to victory.
Away from competition, Maguire is a proud ambassador for the Irish American Partnership, which connects the two communities directly with education and community programs. Inspired by her family of teachers, Maguire works to equip schools across Ireland with the resources needed to educate and inspire the next generation of Irish leaders.
“I’m delighted to be joining such an established group of athletes as a UKG Ambassador and to be representing an organisation that shares my values,” said Maguire. “I’m looking forward to working closely with the UKG team on some great initiatives, and I’m excited for what 2023 will bring.”
Maguire joins a diverse and growing roster of UKG athletes including Gaby López, Mexico’s highest-ranked golfer and recent addition to Team UKG. Both Maguire and López will debut the UKG logo at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Florida, from January 19-22.
